At first I scoffed at the commercial, but that was before I had tried Babybel. Now I understand why those 3 grown men threw themselves out of an airplane for it. If you haven’t seen the commercial or have no idea what I’m talking about, click here to see it. Assuming you have the flash player installed on your browser, you’ll see a spot to click “Watch the mini Babybel TV ad” around the middle of the page – click it! It’s the bottom-most of the two ads you can choose from to watch.
Alright, I know why you’re really here reading. You’re looking for an update to the Billy Blanks …

I would jump out of an airplane for Babybel.

Taebo Troubles
The events about to unfold are true. The names were NOT changed to protect the innocent.
Background/Friday 3/30/07
I’ve done Taebo for years. I love the Billy Blanks Taebo workouts and do Billy’s Cardio BootCamp DVD three times a week fairly religiously. Back when I ordered it, it was part of a complete BootCamp set that came with these “Billy Bands” used for the resistance training portion of the DVDs. Mine became defective and during the Cardio DVD Billy says right in the video “If your bands break, that’s ok, just call us and we’ll get you new bands.” … so why would there be a problem, right? Since it was the start …

Rome is Over!
I’ve decided that I get way too emotionally attached to tv shows. Lucas gets me hooked on these series, and then they end, and it’s devestating for me. First it was The Office (the British original) and now Rome. Last night was the season finale, and I’ve been informed that there will be no further seasons. It’s so depressing! There was so much unfinished business and so much more story to tell… ugh. I think Lucas gets a kick out of how seriously I get into these shows.
Easter is almost upon us, and I can’t believe it’s the first weekend in April. April is next week! I hurridly went out and mailed our handmade Easter …
the bipeds have been busy. i noticed they’ve neglected to post here in awhile, so i thought i’d take a moment and bring you all up to speed on their behalf. it’s always more interesting when i tell it, anyway.
mom’s been busy making stuff. she posts to her crafty blog at pinktoque.blogspot.com with all of the stuff she’s been making. i keep telling her she should just post it here and add a craft tag. silly mom. she’ll make something and get out the camera, and i’m starting to feel a little left out because i’m not always the subject of her photography. some stuffed shape with eyes …

Super Bowl Woes
If I could meet Rex Grossman in person, I’d punch him out.
Those of you that know me know I’m a Chicago Bears fan. Chances are you most likely also know how much I despise the Indianapolis Colts. Even though I lived the first 26 years of my life in Indianapolis, I’m not one of those bandwagon fans that’ll jump on board and cheer for the home team just because they’re winning. I bleed blue and orange even when the Bears aren’t doing well, which is more than I can say for a lot of Colts “fans” that I know. Considering the match up for yesterday’s Super Bowl 41, you can understand …

Healthwii Gaming
Nintendo’s conscious efforts to combine and promote fun and fitness for all ages is truly impressive. “Fun” is one of those boring, overused words, but I can’t help that I find the word synonymous with Nintendo and its games. If you looked up “fun” in my thesaurus, you’d find Nintendo listed first. Nintendo is trying to show us that fitness can be fun, and with their Wii console, suddenly it’s not so hard to imagine.
I am not the only one who is buzzing about the fitness possibilities that the Wii provides. WiiLoss.com refers to the Wii as “the unconscious diet” and MetroWii.com has an article about “Wiixercises” and refers to the British …
