Project 365 (2012) (35 photos)

This is our attempt at taking and sharing one photo a day for the entire year of 2012. The goal is to create a visual timeline of family events and share the story of a whole year in pictures. Check the description for each picture in the album for more info about what's going on. Photos are usually taken with our Nikon D5000, or a cell phone camera if we're on the go.

Our son Liam was born on Thursday June 30, 2011 at 9:18pm. He weighed 8lbs 3oz and was 22 inches long. These photos go in order from his birth to the present. We're adding new photos all the time!

We took Liam to his first Calgary Flames game in St. Louis over Thanksgiving weekend 2011.

Our First Home (53 photos)

We bought our first home! Brand new, 1650 sq ft, single story with 3 bedrooms + office and 2 bath. We closed at the end of September 2011.

Operation Geekling Dinosaur Project (144 photos)

Inspired by an original painting given to us by a friend for the baby room, we launched Operation Geekling Dinosaur Project in early spring 2011 in hopes to get a wide variety of dinosaur artwork in various shapes, sizes, and mediums to decorate our geekling's nursery. Having artwork from people all over the world means so much to us! Thank you! Our geekling was born in June 2011 and to date there are 74 different pieces on the wall(s). Read our Call for Submissions blog post that started it all! These photos go in order to tell a story of the things sent and the stages of hanging to show the wall's growth over time. The last photos at the bottom show me introducing our son to his wall(s), filled with love and art by YOU! Thank you :) And thank you, @ThinkGeek, for helping to promote our geeky nursery project! <3

Scrapbook: Liam's First Year, Month by Month (9 photos)

This is a special scrapbook with one page dedicated to summarizing each of the first 12 months of Liam's life. Each month will feature one photo taken that month and a little journaling that will share milestones from that month. I designed this scrapbook and its layouts myself using a combination of Photoshop and My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software.

Christmas Tree 2011 (34 photos)

We inherited my grandpa's 12' Christmas tree - perfect for our first Christmas with Liam and our first Christmas in our new home. We had to take out a 2' piece to make it fit! Goes in order to sort of show how the tree "grew" as the day progressed. This was an all day affair, but well worth it.

Canada Summer Tour 2010 (301 photos)

Lucas and Lesley spent 10 days in Canada over our anniversary. We flew into Seattle and spent a few days in Victoria on Vancouver Island, then a few days in Vancouver, then a few days in Penticton, and back to Seattle for a day and a half to explore before heading home.
