Happy Independence Day! Beautiful not-too-hot-or-humid weather his holiday week inspired us to spend lots of time playing outdoors at the park. Swinging is still Liam’s favorite! To celebrate July 4th we packed up a picnic lunch and I took Lucas and the kids to Conner Prairie. It was the first time for all of them, and we had fun exploring. (And a lot has changed since I was there last!) Liam has been fascinated by the giant hot air balloon from afar for years now, and he finally got to see it up close and personal, though he wasn’t interested in a ride just yet. The boys played traditional 1836 games, Liam met some farm animals, and a kind resident of Prairietown invited Liam to try some fresh green beans right from her garden. Lila has officially become mobile by inch-worming or army crawling her way all around the living room, and she and Winston got cozy on the floor together.
