This week it was back to the daily grind of work and school. We took it easy and enjoyed the weather; Liam and I biked together almost every day! Getting in some fun time outside (aka exercise) has become part of our routine when we first get home from work & school. It’s been nice! We took a ride with Winston sharing the bike trailer with Liam, which was hilarious. The whole family biked down to the nearby llama farm to visit the llamas this weekend, too.Â
Liam is still getting used to his big boy bed. He does pretty well most days, but sometimes we find him sleeping in random places and positions when we check on him before we go to bed. One evening when I peeked in on him shortly after putting him down for bed, I caught him propped up on his pillow reading to himself. Definitely my kid! I tried to sneak reading books a lot when I was a kid. This weekend Lucas and I were up later than usual watching a movie, and when I checked on Liam at midnight, I found him curled up on his rocking chair and ottoman. Another example of how NOT to sleep in your big boy bed!
Liam has a new favorite thing where he “steals” your spot on the couch when you get up, or your chair at the kitchen table. He thinks it’s hysterical. Daddy got Liam out of his car seat when we stopped at the store this weekend, and in the blink of an eye, Liam had hopped into the front to steal the driver’s seat. He thought it was the funniest thing ever… and LOVED seeing “baby” in the rearview mirror.
