Another week in the books! The summer seems to be passing us by way too quickly. This week I attended and presented at an edtech conference being held at our district. I shared two sessions on web tools for the under 13 crowd, and it was standing room only! Everything went smoothly and I had a great time connecting with other educators. Especially since I’ve been working hard this summer preparing for next school year and the two new classes I’m teaching. Liam went with me to check out my classroom and helped me do a few things at school. The kids had their 3 year (Liam) and 4 month (Lila) check-up and Liam showed off his super powers by wearing his cape, Superman t-shirt, and Batman winter boots to the appointment. I caught Liam sharing his cars with Lila and it was adorable to watch them play cars together. To make it even cuter, Liam has started reading his books to Lila, too. We went to the park and on a “nature walk” along the path, and stopped to smell the flowers along the way. Lila has been getting up on all fours and trying to crawl, and she surprised herself by realizing she can grab her feet now. What a great week!
