Thanks to a day off at the start of the week, Liam and I got crafty on Monday. We made some more art for Lila’s room (check out those adorable hand print owls!) and some watercolors just for fun. We’ve covered one wall in Lila’s room and Liam is so proud of all of his owls for baby Lila. Speaking of Lila, we’re officially less than a month away from her due date – can you believe it? We also worked ahead (since you never know with a newborn who could come early) on Liam’s valentines. We stapled a packet of “dinosaur egg” Quaker oatmeal to a large foam heart and Liam stamped dinosaur stamps on labels that I had written “You’re dino-mite!” on. Pretty cute! Friday this week was “Monster Day” at school, and when I picked Liam up, his face was painted and he showed off his best monster roar to go with it. He makes a pretty convincing monster. 

The rest of the pictures I took this weekend, including some at a fun new local bounce place that we discovered and checked out, were lost. Unfortunately, my old laptop’s hard drive crashed this morning and I lost everything else I took this week that I hadn’t already uploaded to Flickr. This is incredibly frustrating, but I guess in the grand scheme of things, losing only a week of pictures isn’t the end of the world. I’m thankful we upload pretty regularly to Flickr and that I backup my files to an external hard drive often. So this week’s collage is pretty much just Monday and Friday, but it’s better than nothing. (Although I’m still sore that the 150 pictures I took yesterday and have now lost included my photography class assignment for Tuesday. ARGH!)

Here’s to a new laptop and being grateful that I didn’t lose more!
